Extreme Optimization Announces Support for Native 64bit Computing on the.NET Platform

Combined math and statistics is first to fully support Visual Studio 2005.

Toronto, Canada, (October 24, 2006) Extreme Optimization, a provider of numerical components for Microsoft’s .NET platform, today announced the release of version 2.0 of the Extreme Optimization Numerical Libraries for .NET, the first numerical library to fully support .NET 2.0 and take advantage of enhanced debugging features in Visual Studio 2005.

The Extreme Optimization Numerical Libraries for .NET include classes for curve fitting, solving equations, function optimization in one or more dimensions, numerical integration and differentiation, real and complex vectors, matrices and matrix decompositions, probability distributions, random number generation, hypothesis tests, and statistical models, including multiple linear regression and analysis of variance (ANOVA).

One of the new features is a matrix visualizer that displays the contents of a matrix in a grid while debugging. In addition to the .NET 2.0 functionality, the new version now includes support for band matrices, nonlinear regression, logistic regression, and advanced sorting and filtering of statistical data.

”We’re very excited about this release.” said Jeffrey Sax, architect of the library. “We have expanded significantly the range of applications our library supports. We now have the most powerful curve fitting for the .NET platform.”

The Extreme Optimization Numerical Libraries for .NET are available for purchase from $999 for a single developer license. A free 60-day evaluation version is available for download from the Extreme Optimization website at http://www.extremeoptimization.com.
